    "Learn one thing and do one thing for Kenya." CWK was an awareness and fundraising initiative that connected with over 5000 people and raised over $47,000 in six months. CWK provided human rights and environmental education directly to 13 schools in SD71 and teacher support to 2 schools in SD72. CWK also presented to social groups, businesses and individuals raising awareness and money for Free The Children’s Adopt A Village Program in Kenya.

    After being challenged to turn a $250k donation into $1.3M, my small team of two people fundraised the remainder of the money with the BC Forest Discovery Centre, designed and created an exceptional exhibit highlighting the innovations in modern forestry. The exhibit launched officially on April 24, 2019 at the BC Forest Discovery Centre in North Cowichan, BC.

    Potlatch 67-67: The Potlatch Ban - Then and Now is a multi artist exhibit that examines the impact of the attempted cultural genocide through the Potlatch ban and the resilience of First Nation peoples in preserving their culture and language for future generations. I produced video and photography for the project that appears on the website, publications and was featured in the exhibit at Comox Valley Art Gallery.

  • Harvest the Valley, Harvest the River, and Harvest the Pearl

    A regional initiative, designed and facilitated by Shari Caudron through work and volunteer time, to fill the local food banks in the Comox Valley, Campbell River, and Powell River. Bags were delivered to residents in each community via Black Press, collected on recycling day with one day a full drop off day. Over 80 business sponsors, and huge support from our media sponsors Jet FM, Black Press, ATV/CTV. Food banks had to find storage facilities from the overwhelming community support…
