“Where do I start with writing a recommendation for Zac! He is a change-maker in any organization, an empathetic leader and co-worker who always makes time for those around him; someone whose creativity and passion for the work he does is inspiring. I love having Zac on my team as he is always encouraging those around him to think outside the box, question the reasons why you are pursuing something and striving to think more broadly so that the change we make in our work has the greatest impact. Zac's time with our team has been transformative. He has helped to bring better understanding of the first nations in BC and ignited an interest on the team to think about the words we use and be more intentional to try to find opportunities to work toward reconciliation. The part I appreciate the most is that he challenges me to continue pushing and builds me up. As a Manager it's amazing to have him on the team!”

After being challenged to turn a $250k donation into $1.3M, my small team of two people fundraised the remainder of the money with the BC Forest Discovery Centre, designed and created an exceptional exhibit highlighting the innovations in modern forestry. The exhibit launched officially on April 24, 2019 at the BC Forest Discovery Centre in North Cowichan, BC.
